Born and raised in the midwest, I have lived all over the U.S., approximately the past 14 years in the Pacific NW (Seattle, Spokane, and Portland)—now having just relocated the West Des Moines area—I have previous bank card industry experience from 2010-2015 (working for TSYS, and an ISO of Elavon) where I really learned how to take care of a merchant by being transparent and standing by my word.
However, I soon found there were downsides to this industry. What disgusted me the most were some of the unethical practices and unscrupulous sales tactics used by various reps to get someone to buy then leaving them holding the bag when there was an issue with the account (i.e. terminal issue, billing concern etc.), thereby leaving the merchant to fend for themselves, while their fees kept going up… sound familiar?
What inspired and excited me the most about PCBancard was the top notch training and support they offer their new agents, while truly being invested in a business owner’s success—not just focusing on “savings” or how much they can bilk the business owner out of their hard earned money. PCB is focused on being there to support the merchant after the sale and being a partner to helping them grow their business.
